Amplify the voices of those with lived experience.
Last updated: 11 Dec 2024
An inclusive and empathetic approach
We work to amplify the voices of those with lived experience, embracing the invaluable perspectives they bring and centring them in our policy and advocacy efforts.
Incorporating the perspectives of those with lived experience is essential in deepening our understanding of the challenges faced by people navigating child protection systems and creates a more inclusive and empathetic approach to addressing the complexities inherent in these systems.
Integrating lived experience for lasting change
We work to develop gold-standard methodologies and ethical frameworks to ensure lived experience is seamlessly integrated into our policy and advocacy initiatives. We empower our leaders and members to embrace lived experience as an integral part of the decision-making process.
We’re proud to support mothers, through our projects, in using their experiences and voices to consult and advise government and agencies on policy development and reform.
For us, it’s not just about shaping policies; it’s about transforming lives and building capacity for those whose voices have been overlooked.
