Empowering leaders in the community services sector
Designed for staff who have leadership responsibilities of teams in the Community Services sector, or who wish to build their leadership capability, this workshop aims to provide participants with the skills and tools to lead effectively and successfully. Additionally, it will build insights and understandings of the elements of effective leadership to develop leadership competence and increase confidence in successfully leading teams.
Learning outcomes
- Recognise the impact a good leader plays in supporting teams in the Community Services sector;
- Understand key skills in becoming an effective leader;
- Increase confidence in leadership capability;
- Identify and implement successful leadership strategies.

This is a 3-hour highly interactive workshop that can be delivered either in person or online. To optimise the learning experience and maximise opportunities for learner participation, audience capacity is 30 participants per session.
Supervision and Leadership Skills Training combined workshop
Paired with the Effective Supervision Skills training, this workshop can be delivered as a complete Supervision and Leadership Skills training package.
The six-hour combined content forms a powerful approach to supervision skill development, specifically catering to staff who wish to support and successfully lead teams working in the Community Services sector.
