Understanding and implementing the Victorian Child Safe Standards
The Victorian Child Safe Standards require organisations involving children to have policies, procedures, and practices to keep them safe. Organisations that provide services or facilities for children must implement Child Safe Standards to protect them from abuse. This workshop features a presentation on these standards and gives participants an understanding of what is required to implement them.
This interactive and engaging training provides participants with an opportunity to reflect on the strengths of their organisation and identify areas requiring attention. Participants will be able to ask questions and delve into issues relevant to their organisation during the session.
The workshop can be delivered online or face-to-face. To optimise the learning experience and maximise opportunities for learner participation, the audience capacity is 30 participants per session.
