This course is an elective unit in the Diploma of Leadership and Management program. This course will equip participants with the skills and knowledge required to manage the performance of staff who are direct reports.

The skills and knowledge developed in this unit will be applicable to individuals who manage people. It covers work allocation and the methods to review performance, reward excellence and provide feedback. The unit links performance management and performance development and reinforces both functions as key requirements for effective managers.
