Tasmanian Youth Week grants open

Applications are open for the 2025 Youth Week Tasmania Grants Program, which offers grants of up to $2000 to support events or activities held during the week.

The program supports local government, community organisations and schools in developing and delivering innovative events and activities during Youth Week Tasmania 2025.

Minister for Children and Youth, Roger Jaensch, says the week is a celebration recognising the value of young Tasmanians aged 12 to 25.

“The week recognises the next generation of leaders, changemakers, influencers and visionaries who are shaping our state,” he says.

Youth Week Tasmania 2025 will be held from Thursday, 10 April 2025 to Thursday, 17 April 2025. The theme and empowering slogan for the Youth Week Tasmania 2025 is ‘Courage:  Stepping out of your comfort zone’.
